Matthew Garcia

Matt Garcia is an alumni of St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX, where he graduated with a BA in Theatre Performance. During his time there he performed in many main stage shows, such as A Lie Of The Mind, The Crucible, Bus Stop, and Under Construction, to name a few. In the three years he’s been in LA he has performed on stage as Algernon in The Importance of Being Ernest and Antipholus of Syracuse in Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors. He has been featured in numerous commercials including Toyota, LG, McDonald’s, and Nintendo. He is so thankful for the friends that he’s made in LA and the community he’s built allowing him to create projects like this one, and many more to come.

Stefani Zabner

Stefani Zabner graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Acting. She came to Los Angeles in 2011 where she earned her SAG-AFTRA card just in time to take up interest in writing and producing. Stefani since has continued her studies through UCLA extension and has produced three short films. She is currently staffed with a production company that produces short form content. In her moments of free time, she writes scripts that take viewers on an emotional journey while either making them laugh or scaring them shitless.

Andy Marques

Born in Spain on the island of Menorca to a Spanish father and Korean mother, Andy moved to Philadelphia as a child where he grew up. His interest in acting began at a very young age, but after high school he attended Temple University and studied International Business. After graduating in 2012, and a couple years working in the business world, he decided to pursue his passion for acting and relocated to Los Angeles in 2014. He studied at Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio and was recognized for his talent immediately landing roles in film, TV and series starting in 2015.

Dionna Veremis

A Michigan native, Dionna spent much of her childhood performing in local productions. She carries that collaborative, playful spirit into all of her work, and has extensive experience onstage, on camera, and on the 405. Favorite theatre roles include Janet in Rocky Horror, Corie in Barefoot in the Park, and Cordelia in deLEARious. Dionna guest starred on a Comedy Central series as the lead's girlfriend, a character that was ultimately cut but an absolute blast to shoot. She considers landing on the cutting room floor a Hollywood rite of passage, along with the token horror film credit Victorville Massacre. She is a member of Open Fist Theatre Company and performs regularly in their plays at Atwater Village Theatre.  A graduate of the Meisner Technique at Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio, she has also studied Shakespeare and Improv. Dionna is thrilled to be part of the On the Rocks team and is grateful for her community of creative friends.

Jaden Hoff

DIRECTOR: Patrick Hickman

Born in Darby, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia,

Patrick Hickman was the youngest of four children. He would watch movies over and over until he could recite every line to his family, especially adventure films like Lord of The Rings, Gladiator, and Indiana Jones.

​

His love for film grew and he decided to change his career path to pursue acting, training for three years at the Actors Center in Philadelphia and starring in several films, including the drama Eventide. Since moving to Los Angeles, Patrick has continued to build his list of acting credits. He starred alongside Brian Krause in the feature film Ribbons, and recently filmed the Sci-Fi Pilot Runners.

In 2015, Patrick stood behind the camera for the first time to direct the short film Suited, adding not only another skill, but a new passion to his repertoire. Wearing the director hat again, he looks forward to using his eye for artistic detail and passion for storytelling to bring the pilot of On the Rocks to life.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY / EDITOR: Ashleigh Coffelt

Ashleigh Coffelt is an award winning Filipino American director and cinematographer based in Los Angeles. Over the last few years, Ashleigh has written, directed, filmed and edited over 90 short films, 20 of which have screened at film festivals both internationally and nationally.

In addition to being shortlisted to the 2017 Sundance Screenwriter's Lab, she has been awarded numerous awards including “I For I” (director, cinematographer), winner of Best Director at Festival de Cannes with Creative Mind Group, “5ive” (writer, director, cinematographer, editor), winner of the Grand Jury Award at the Adrenaline Film Festival and RAW:Baltimore Filmmaker of the Year.

Coffelt is an Act One Fellow and alumni of the Creative Mind Group. She holds a BS in Psychology and Electronic Media and Film from Towson University. She focuses on creating projects that empower women and help change media portrayals of women and minorities.

ASSISTANT CAMERA - Courtney Birk

Having grown up with a love for the camera, Courtney Birk spent most of her childhood summers making movies with her friends. Since 2013, she has not only starred in but contributed to the production of over 90 short films that have gone onto international and national film festivals, winning awards such as Best Actress and Grand Jury Awards. Courtney strives to tell meaningful stories with strong female characters, shining a light on unconventional and controversial social topics that start necessary dialogue.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - Rachel Pollock

Rachel Pollock is an Assistant Director/ Unit Production Manager known for "I Like Me", "The Hill and the Hole", "Ape Canyon" and "Bad Witch". She has a BS in Film and Moving Image from Stevenson University, and has currently applied to be in the Los Angeles Assistant Director Training Program. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and recently relocated to Los Angeles, California, where she works as a freelance Assistant Director/Unit Production Manager.

LIGHTING - Gyasi Howard

Gyasi Howard is from Philadelphia, PA where he attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia. He moved to Los Angeles just over two years ago to pursue a career in the film industry. Having climbed the ladder from PA to Grip and Electric, Gyasi is now finding success in lighting. He has worked on kid shows at Brat Studios, various music videos, and recently worked on Elyse, directed by Stella Hopkins.

MAKEUP ARTIST - Ashley Stansbury

Ashley Stansbury is a professional makeup artist in Los Angeles who began perfecting her craft over a decade ago. She specializes in beauty and SFX makeup and her experience now ranges from print to theater and film. Credits include Kidadults, Imaginary Order, and A Vicious Cycle.
